Frank’s favourites
Carp angling legend Frank Warwick looks at some of his favourite Enterprise Tackle baits and also highlight some new products.
Original and the best
It’s no secret that I am a massive fan of the original Enterprise Tackle corn and the presentations I have used have caught me large carp both home and abroad. My hooking arrangement stays the same for both set ups, it is just the way I fi sh them that changes. My favourite two presentations for Enterprise
corn are simple but eff ective. My fi rst presentation is normally fi shed in
conjunction with a Method feeder. The rig is designed to be as light as possible, so when the Method ball is investigated by a fi sh, the rig fl ies up inside the fi sh’s mouth with ease. I always use two pieces of corn, which I present on an aggresive razor sharp hook. The hair is trapped to the shank with shrink tube, blow-back style, and this is then line-aligned to ensure it turns every time. I tie this up with a coated hook link with the last inch near the hook stripped back. The corn is the perfect buoyancy. Just place a
tiny shot just below the hook and it sits up around half an inch off the bottom. My second tactic is a little unorthodox, and that
is to fi sh the corn as a single stand-alone hook bait cast to signs of fi sh. Everyone prefers a diff erent fl avour from the
corn range but my two favourites are the Tutti Fruity and Scopex and I am more than confi dent fi shing these as a single hook bait without any free off erings. It is a brilliant tactic because no one else does it!
