Entry into force of Maritime Labour Convention, 2006 (MLC). Countries where the MLC is in force on that date will be


entitled to inspect any ship against the standards of the MLC, whether or not the ship’s flag state is a party to the MLC. The UK is expected to ratify shortly before this date.
