Welcome to this, the first issue of Irish Beauty in 2013. We’re in February already so it’s time to turn our thoughts towards the Spring and Summer trends that your salon should be embracing. Don’t rest on your laurels and think that your clients will be happy with the same old nail colours and skin care products – that just won’t do! Today’s consumer is bombarded with news of the latest treatments Hollywood are screaming for over the Pond.
With this in mind we’ve a round-up of the latest anti-ageing facial treatments that use electrotherapy – that’s basically anything
with a pulse! These can earn you extra revenue with treatment prices significantly higher than a traditional ‘hands-on’ facial.
We’re also looking at a group of clients who can sometimes be the trickiest – the teenager! Claire Matthewman has a round-up of treatments ranging from Acne busting facials through to on-trend tans fit for a Prom Queen!
