Waverley Academy Launch Advanced Curriculum
TheWaverley Academy have launched two programmes fromtheir new advanced beauty and aesthetics curriculum. They include advanced skincare and electrical epilation.
Aoife Jennings opens the institute. Neweducational option Claremorris now boasts a top quality beauty training college, Skin Deep Institute.
The institute has been set up by Sinead Scahill, who hasmany years industry experience behind her. Sinead spotted a gap in the beauty training sector in that for advanced trainingmost therapists have to travel to Dublin.
The institute was officially opened by Aoife Jennings, RecrutimentManager of Steiner leisure Cruises, who spoke at the launch emphasising the opportunities within the beauty industry and the value of quality training.

Vulsini launch mobile therapy training
Vulsini, the companywhich launched ‘hot stones in a bag’, has introduced new training courses specifically designed for themore independent therapist. The training courses take place at the London School of Complementary Health in North London and feature both hot stone and warmbamboomassage training.
Both are one-day CPD training sessions. The hot stonemassage training session will take place inMarch in North London and is hosted by experienced holistic trainer, Tuuli Taylor. The bamboo massage training will take place in February and has three affiliate colleges in Newport, Kent, and theMidlands to train outside of London.

The advanced skincare carries a level 4 accreditation fromITEC and is ideal for anyone wishing to take their careers to the next level and will include advanced levels of knowledge on dermatology, cosmeceuticals, skin peeling,micro needling and advanced cosmetics.
The electrical epilation (electrolysis) course will be a level 3 accreditation fromITEC and will cover the knowledge and skills required to become an expert in hair removal.

Themorning is aimed at potential nail technicians who are either looking for an alternative nail systemor are looking at investing in gel nails. The afternoon is for the existing customer to be able to touch base, work through techniques, both practical and theory, and queries and general questions about Calgel.

The Sunjunkie Spray Tanning Course is available to all beauty therapists and the SpecialisedWaxing course is available to therapists with aminimumof one year’s waxing experience, covering everything froma regular bikini wax to a complete Hollywood wax.
An OPI Gelcolor conversion course is also available and comes free with a starter kit.
