“I pulled my ham-


string in a Junior Grand Prix [event] three weeks ago in Germany and had to withdraw,” she said.


“Considering all


of the obstacles I had in my way leading up to sectionals, I was very pleased with how things turned out. I skated two solid programs and won the gold medal. I’m looking forward to the national championships and I have plenty of room to improve before then.” Having endured Superstorm Sandy, Cesario admits to a feeling of gratitude. “People take so much for granted every day,” she said. “I feel so blessed to be

as fortunate as I am. Now that I am home again I can help my family in the work they’ve been doing in the community. To everyone who lost so much in the wake of the hurricane, my thoughts and prayers are with you. I know as a community we’ll be back on our feet in no time.”
