New Hampshire Pickling Tomato 75-85 days. The result of a cross breeding at the University of New Hampshire in the late 1950’s/early 1960’s in search of a pickling variety with fruits that matured at the same time to reduce the cost of produc- tion. Thick-walled, 1/2 oz. pear shaped fruits are very fl avorful, with an almost smoky taste that grow 1-1/2 to 2” long and have excellent crack resistance. Perfect for making pickles or fresh eating.
