Arco launches a complete welding solution

B

Ion Air Gun removes both static and dust

XAIRs Ion Air Gun removes static electricity, contaminants and dust from three-dimensional parts prior to labelling, assembly,

E packaging,

painting or finishing. It is engineered for safe operation and is recognised to component safety standards. The shock-less Ion Air Gun neutralizes static electricity and cleans at distances up to 4.6 metres. The Ion Air Gun incorporates a high velocity air jet that uses a small amount of compressed air to entrain 80% of the total output airflow from the surrounding room air. An electrically energised emitter at the discharge end fills the entire airstream with positive and negative ions capable of neutralising high static charges in a fraction of a second. An optional regulator allows infinite adjustment of the air volume and velocity. A comfortable grip and hand position allows hours of continuous use without fatigue. The Ion Air Gun is quiet, lightweight and features a hanger hook for easy storage. The 3 metre shielded power cable is extremely flexible, designed for rugged use. Applications include cleaning moulded parts, pre- paint dust removal, furniture finishing and package cleaning prior to labelling or printing.

New spray gun washer for solvent or water based paints

he Solutex Spray Gun Washer model 163 can be used to wash dirty spray guns automatically and manually whilst efficiently minimizing atmospheric emissions. This high quality unit is constructed completely in stainless steel and is compact in size but with enough room inside to fit a 60 litre drum to reduce liquid changes to a minimum. Many ways of being safe

he latest safety relay from leading automation supplier ifm electronic ltd may not look very big, but that belies it’s capabilities.

T The AC041S safety

relay will be very useful to many OEM’s and end users alike, as it can be used as either a stand-alone safety relay, or as part of an AS-interface Safety at Work network.

It goes without saying that the

AC041S complies with the latest safety standards, having certification to EN 954-1/SC 4, IEC 61508 / SIL3 and EN ISO13849-1/PLe. As a two-channel AS- interface safety monitor, The AC041S has more features than it’s predecessors, not least of which are the standard USB 2.0 interface and a chip card to backup up settings, and more than that are extra features built into the safety software allowing more functionality. The USB is for configuration and diagnosis on a PC with the user-friendly safety software from ifm electronic. As a stand-alone safety relay, the AC041S features four safe inputs or eight standard inputs/outputs locally. It is becoming more common with control devices nowadays to be able to configure a connection as input or output; the AC041S is no exception, increasing it’s versatility.
