When carrying out a luxury manicure, Calgel recommend starting by pushing back the cuticles, trimming or filing the nails and then, rather than applying a polish which will last a few days, applying two coats of either colour or French Calgel Gel to the nails, curing for three minutes for each layer. The sticky residue is then removed and Calgel Hand and Cuticle Cream is applied and the hands wrapped in plastic and put into a pair of hot mitts to rejuvenate the moisture lost in the Winter months. Excess cream is then removed with Guard and Calgel High Gloss Top Coat is applied to the nails.
