How they made the team: Individual tryouts took place Oct. 18-21 at the Madison Curling Club in Wisconsin.


Hometown/Curling Club: Madison, Wis./Madison Curling Club. Patrick moved from California to Wisconsin to train closer to Team USA’s coaches.


International experience: Patrick will make his third appeara- nace at the world wheelchair championship and second as skip. He also was a member of the 2010 Paralympic wheelchair curling team.


Etc.: Patrick is a veteran of the U.S. Army. He is married and has two children.

Hometown/Curling Club: New Hartford, N.Y./Utica Curling Club.


International experience: Jimmy is the veteran of this squad with the 2013 world event marking his seventh appearance. He also was a member of the 2010 and 2006 Paralympic wheelchair curling teams. Jimmy won a bronze medal at the 2008 world wheelchair championship.

International experience: 2013 will mark Penny’s third time on Team USA at the world championship. She won a bronze medal in sitting volleyball at the 2004 Paralympic Summer Games.


Etc.: Penny is employed as a case worker with Brown County. She is married and has one son.
