A Gathering of USWCA Presidents An unprecedented gathering of former presidents of the USWCA took
place at the fall meeting in September in Madison, Wis. Current President Bridget Matzke welcomed 14 former presidents during the Board of Repre- sentatives Meeting on Sept. 16. Junior coaching clinic planned in Portage

Teaching the course will be the highly-qualified team of Jim Shlimovitz, a USCA Level II instructor and coordinator for the Green Bay Junior Curling Camp; Beverly Schroeder, longtime coach of junior champions and active member with the USCA; and Lynita Delaney, coach with more than 20 years of experience, who was formerly the USCA junior athletic development director. Te goal of the clinic will be to get your teams to the next level of com-
petition mentally and physically. It will focus on team dynamics, practice drills, skill development, communication, leadership and strategy. Tere will be a nominal fee charged for participation in the clinic. Watch

entire season. Ten, curl in as many Circuit bonspiels as you’d like and your results will garner points. Te top 50 percent in each region based on points (average of best three events) will win cash and prizes. All clubs that are members of the USWCA can list their women’s bon-
spiel on Te Circuit. Most clubs have seen an increase in teams as a result of Circuit participation! Come on out and join the Circuit. All entry fees become regional prize money while you have a great time curling and sup- porting women’s curling and bonspiels. From the shores of Maryland to the Windy City, from the headwaters of
