Sure, we know its seems odd that he won the contest, but his last-minute purchase of eight tickets, despite claim- ing he never wins anything, paid off for the Fargo-Moorhead Curling Club member. Sjue reported that the event was a lot of fun and recommends it to those looking for a new bonspiel to add to their curling vitae.

bonspiel featured 24 teams and took place concurrently with the famed Margarita Bonspiel. Te Midnight Madness event, however, meant curling into the wee hours of the morning. Sjue, 64, noted that getting off of the ice at 4:30 in the morning was no easy task. Although his team advanced to the semi- finals in one of the events, Sjue was content with not having to take the ice aſter 10 p.m. once again.
