Bottega is a lifestyle boutique that is very much a far cry from the drear frumpiness often associated with small town boutiques. Its bohemian feel and luxury edge bring a twist of originality perfectly suited for the modern Cheshire woman. Owner Sam has created a fun and eccentric vibe that lifts the shop out of the sleepy street location in Tarporley.


On the fashion front there is a perfect edit of both classic and more out-there pieces. They have brands we all know and love such as Wildfox, Victoria Beckham and Alice & Olivia as well as lesser known brands such as Gemma Lister and a few vintage items. This eclectic mix adds an element of surprise to the shopping experience and gives their customers the opportunity to create their own unique look. They have a loyal customer base that rely on extremely helpful and knowledgeable Alicia and Sam, who are on-hand to give the less confident shoppers advice on how to mix those quirky pieces with their safe staples.


If fashion isn’t your thing, or your budget won’t allow it to be at the moment, there is a fantastic selection of homeware and gift ideas that fill all the nooks and crannies of the boutiques interior, giving everyone an opportunity to satisfy their shopping cravings. There is also the Birdcage café, situated at the back of the store, which provides the ideal retreat for either a post-shopping refuel or perhaps the leaving of uninterested partners with their newspapers…
