Euroquartz to show high stability oscillators and miniature crystals at
America II Europe Limited is exhibiting on stand 421 in hall A4. Renesas to demonstrate MCU family for
electronica Frequency control specialist, Euroquartz is promoting its XOR range of high stability clock oscillators and its latest miniature SMD crystal in the smallest package yet at the forthcoming Electronica 2012.
The new XOR series offers customers a miniature SMD clock oscillator with stabilities from ±7ppm over -10 to +70°C. Supply voltage choice is 3.3, 2.5 or 1.8V and there are three SMD package sizes: 7x5mm, 5x3.2mm and 3.2x2.5mm. In addition, XOR series oscillators have excellent phase noise performance of - 145dBc/Hz at 100kHz offset and exhibit low jitter (300fs typical). Frequency range extends from 1 to 56MHz.
By using the XOR series, design engineers can make significant cost savings as this component is a clock oscillator and not an expensive temperature compensated oscillator.
Also new at Electronica Euroquartz will be showing its latest miniature SMD crystal, the X21 series. Housed in the smallest package size of 2.05 x 1.65mm with height of just 0.6mm, this device isd suitable in restricted space applications requiring very low mass.
The new X21 crystal is hermetically sealed in a metal can over a ceramic base. High resistance to shock and vibration and an extremely low ageing characteristic (<±3ppm/year at 25°C) make this crystal ideal for miniaturised handheld equipment such as PDAs and GPS and similar high density applications.
Euroquartz is exhibiting on stand 528 in hall B5.
DATA MODUL to present latest innovations in the area of display-technology, embedded
systems and system solutions This year DATA MODUL will be focusing on its easySolutions brands, which is designed and produced in house by DATA MODUL.
The company’s eMotion ST-Series controller boards are developed and manufactured in Germany to the highest design and manufacturing standards. The new eMotion ST3:4 with DisplayPort 1.2, will support for the first time the new high-end QFHD panels with resolutions at 3840 x 2160 or above.
In the area of embedded systems DAT MODL will showcase the first real Qseven compatible quadcore ARM module with Cortex A9
i.MX6 and the newest touch-panel Interface DUI, which allows controlling a TFT and PCAP- Touch with only one single standard cable for the first time.
In addition the company will be presenting the new eDM-A55E a new industrial Mini-ITXboard. This AMD G-series based board is offering high-performance graphics and two independent Dual Channel LVDS interfaces which can drive two Full HD Panels at the same time.
BATRON LCD, designed and produced by DATA MODUL, is showcasting their new Temp+ Line with a storage and operating temperature from -30°C to +85°C and is presenting its unique QVGA Single-Chip solutions.

auto body electronics at electronica At this year’s electronica visitors to the Renesas stand will be able to see the RH850/F1x, which the company claims is the world's first 40nm mcu family for automotive body electronics.
The RH850/F1x is part of a new mcu platform based on Renesas' 40nm embedded Flash technology and its new RH850 32bit core. These devices has been developed specifically for automotive body applications – from body control units to door module, gateway, HVAC, and seat control.
Renesas says that due to its 40nm MONOS Flash technology it can provide both ultra low power consumption and high cpu performance.
Also included in the device are up to 8MB of embedded Flash memory, a wide package scalability from 48 to 417 pins, multi core architecture and high temperature resistance up to 170 °C.
