3U 4HP versions of the EPLAX VeroPower family of 19in subrack pluggable AC/DC switched mode power supplies have been intro- duced by Verotec to add further capability to its KM6 subrack and metal enclosure families.


The units measure just 4HP (0.8 inches) wide and a standard 160mm deep, and are available with power rails. The complete VeroPower range consists of plug- gable PSUs with power ratings from 20 to 150 Watt.


Output power levels of 20, 40 and 50W are available. The 20 and 40W versions have 94-253VAC autoranging inputs; the 50W has a 115/230VAC switchable input. The monovolt 20W unit has single voltage rail outputs: 5V/4A; 12- 15V/1.4A or 24V/0.8A. Three triv- olt 40W versions provide either 5V/4A, +12-15V/0.6A and -12- 15V/0.6A; +12-15V/1.4A, +12- 15V/0.6A and -12-15V/0.6A or 24V/0.8A, +12-15V/1.4A and -12- 15V/0.6A. ‘Standard’ range of ‘custom’ enclosures


Now available from CamdenBoss are six new enclosure styles, manu- factured from the company's flat sheet technology.


The new 7500 series offers six styles in a range of standard colours. The flat sheet technology requires no tooling and the simple designs enable the company to manufacture enclo-


sures to order quickly and efficiently even in low volumes. The com- pany can also incorporate cut-outs, PCB pillars, LCD windows, LED light-pipes, ventilation and rubber feet etc., to customer specifications. The 7510 series features a simple two U-shaped snap together construction in five standard sizes from 81 x 71 x 21mm up to 256 x 126 x 56mm (external). 7520 series enclosures also feature two U-shaped snap together halves with one part enabling wall- mounting via flanged sides. Five standard sizes range from 94 x 46 x 21mm up to 244 x 156 x 71mm.


The 7530 series, which features base and lid construction with four countersink screws used to fasten the lid to base, is available in five sizes from 66 x 66 x 66mm up to 221 x 146 x 46mm. 7540 series surface mount boxes also feature base and lid construc- tion but have a flanged base to enable fixing to any suitable surface. These are in five sizes from 86 x 60 x 21mm up to 210 x 169 x 56mm. Also available is the 7550 series end-panel enclosures with a four- part snap together construction and five sizes from 100 x 64 x 21mm up to 252 x 86 x 86mm; and the 7560 series flanged base enclosures.
