HIG Europe has now completed the acquisition of
ARMetallizing (ARM) from Ackermans & van Haaren and Vacumet Paper from Scholle Corporation. The combined Group will be global market leader in metallised paper for the beverage and consumer packaged goods markets. With revenues in excess of €120m, the Group will supply clients globally from manufacturing facilities in Belgium, Italy and the US and will be led by ARM’s CEO Paul Van Emmerick and CFO Martin Raeymakers who will retain a significant shareholding in the business.

Extrusion, Reifenhäuser Kiefel Extrusion, Reifenhäuser Reicofil, Reiloy Metall, Reimotec Maschinen- und Anlagenbau, and Polyrema generated total sales of over EUR 450m. All
business areas of the Group could report a two-digit growth despite still weakening markets, especially in Europe. This was mainly due to a significantly increasing demand for extrusion machinery from Asia and South America. The Group is planning further growth for the new financial year. “After a rather weak spring
