Flavours of Fingal Hits the Spot!
Dublin’s only Agricultural Show, ‘Flavours of Fingal’ took place at Newbridge Demesne on 21st and 22nd July last.
Bringing together farmers and growers, food producers, crafts and cookery demos along with an extensive programme of family fun including livestock competitions, dog trials, vintage cars, live music, biodiversity corner, crafts and games, the event was a huge success attracting upwards of 20,000 people to the best value family day out in Dublin this Summer.
Fingal County Council brought this major event to one of Fingal’s most magnificent heritage properties for the first time with the assistance of its partners Teagasc, Fingal Farmers and Fingal Tourism and with the strong support from rural Dublin Leader along with a range of key sponsors including FBD, Keelings, Bank of Ireland, Dublin Airport Authority and Country Crest.
Feedback from the event from those who attended and those who took part was so positive that plans are already in place to build on the success of Flavours of Fingal making it even bigger and even better in 2013.
