Enjo Whole Hamy any of our great Country Hams and our Cooked City Ham a little at a time for a long time. Choose our Southern Smokehouse Ham, Attic Aged Ham, or our cooked Smoked City Ham. Your ham will be sliced for you and vacuum sealed in convenient packages. The center slices will be packed two slices per package.You can eat your ham as you want, and remain assured that the last slice will be just as good as the first. Must be kept refrigerated after arrival.

A Country Cured Ham is the “Old-Fashioned” way of rubbing-down a fresh ham with “Dry Cure” - a mixture of of spices, sugar, brown sugar, salt and pepper. Then hung up to absorb the cure and age. The different types and tastes of Country Hams come from the different lengths of aging and smoking. Below are the different types of Country hams:

Burgers’ Southern Smokehouse Ham - Short Aged (4 to 6 months) then gently smoked for a milder taste and aroma. This is our most popular country ham. Available uncooked, cooked, whole, half, spiral sliced and steaks.
Burgers’ Attic Aged Ham - Aged naturally a “Country Year” (7 to 9 months) - this ham is for the “connoisseur” of old fashioned hams with taste being more robust than ham above. Available uncooked, cooked, whole, half, spiral sliced and steaks.

Boneless Italian Prosciutto Ham A traditional ham that has been perfected through unhurried natural aging process. Traditional Italian hams are usually sliced very thin and eaten uncooked.

What is a Cooked City Cured Ham?
A City Cured Ham is one that is closely trimmed and cured with a “sweet brine.” Then cooked and gently smoked at the same time to bring out that sweet, moist flavor. Hams are available bone-in, semi-boneless, boneless, whole, half, spiral sliced, steaks & pieces.

Is a whole ham too much ham at one time? Half Ham
Now you can enjoy any of our great uncooked Country Hams and our cooked City Ham a half ham at a time. The whole ham is separated into two stacks as it is sliced to make an even half ham. Every other slice is laid on alternat- ing stacks. No shank or butt half ham, but a true half ham. Each half is then vacuum sealed in conveniently sized packages. Centers are vacuum sealed one slice per pack- age. End slices will be vacuum sealed with three or more slices per package. Must be kept refrigerated after delivery. Same delicious tasting ham as the whole ham.
