We hear that up and coming actress Celine Buckens, who recently appeared in the blockbusterWar Horse, is a fan of Jane Iredale’s Faux Lashes.Make-up artist Nathalie Eleni used the lashes on Celine in preparation for the Empire Awards held recently. Teen beauty Celine was nominated in the Best Female Newcomer category.

Free fromthebigfive In the United States, the Department of Toxic Substance Control (DTSC) has conducted a study looking into the claims of nail polishmanufacturers in relation to the toxicity of their products.


Out of 24 companies tested, Zoya was one of only two companies whose claims of being free of toluene, formaldehyde, Dibutyl Phthalate (DPD) and Camphor were found to be true.


Originally formulated free of formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin and toluene, ‘Big3Free’ Zoya formulations quickly became ‘Big5free’ with the subsequent removal of dibutyl phthalate (DBP) and later Camphor.


“Today Zoya Nail Polish and treatments remains committed to a proactive approach to developing quality, toxin free products,” says Nila Fogarty, director of Zoya.
