NO BATTERIES REQUIRED
No phone signal, battery failure or smart phone memory are all problems that BemroseBooth Mobile’s latest product, Cash for Parking, will overcome. The payment system has been offi cially rolled out across the London Borough of Bexley and is now available throughout the UK. The system means that parking transactions can now be processed in local retail outlets, with shops, newsagents, restaurants and pubs all able to use the service. Retailers top up their online account, enter the motorists’ vehicle details and allocate the amount of
funds required to park. This is done through a back-
offi ce reporting programme or smart phone application. Robert Adamson, of BemroseBooth Mobile, said: ‘We had to take into account motorists who do not have access to phone and pay, and those who do not feel comfortable with smart phone devices and so Cash for Parking was created. Motorists can also use the service to access VAT receipts.’
