EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST COMPLEMENTARY ENFORCEMENT AGENT SERVICES
FOR PARKING ENFORCEMENT
Applications are invited from suitably experienced companies who are certificated Enforcement Agent organisations with national coverage wishing to be considered for inclusion in a short list of prospective contractors for this contract which is due to commence on 1 Oct 2012.
NSL Ltd enforces parking regulations on behalf of many Local Authorities and car park owners throughout the UK. A recent contract appointment requires NSL to provide two enforcement agent companies to pursue outstanding debts through Warrants of Control under the Traffic Management Act 2004.
DRIVING FORCES GET RESULTS
Charnwood Borough Council in Leicestershire has won a Park Mark award for its car parks. These awards follow a police assessment and review by the Safer Parking Scheme development manager Michael Gardner, who said this was great news for the local
residents using the facilities. He praised the staff involved in the upkeep and management of the site, particularly the manager wardens. ‘They are the real driving forces and key to getting things done in the car parks,’ added Gardner.
Key messages in Liverpool
The BPA’s Phil Taylor is leading the publicity drive for the Safer Parking Scheme, by taking to the streets of Liverpool to draw attention to the award. Taylor, SPS manager for the north east, paraded the Park Mark award around the
Merseyside shopping centre, explaining to bystanders what the white tick signified. The publicity-raising campaign was held in conjunction with the local police, who were dispensing car safety tips in an effort to reduce car crime.

NSL Ltd has its own Enforcement Agent arm called TASK, who will be one of the companies, but we are now looking for a second company to fulfil our clients’ requirements under the above mentioned contract. The company will also become the preferred supplier in the case of any other similar contracts.
Initially quantities are estimated to be around 7,000 warrants per annum (plus some outstanding cases) but there is the possibility of future additional work that cannot be quantified at this stage
The term of the contract will be 3 years with extensions totalling no more than 2 years at the discretion of NSL Ltd and it is expected that NSL Ltd will appoint 1 provider plus 1 reserve provider.
Companies wishing to be considered should apply for a pre-qualification questionnaire, which must be returned no later than 12 noon on 22 Jun 2012.
