Due to the tapered outer section, the spars angle upward toward the tip on the bottom, be- ginning at mid span, so the panels are built in two segments. Begin by pinning the in- board end of SM1 and SM2 in place over the plan, followed by A1 and A2. Align and glue
The ribs (above right) are fitted onto the main and flap hinge spars, then pinned in place over the plan to insure proper alignment.
R2A to R2, then fit ribs R1, R2, and R3 in place on the spars, followed by SM2. Unpin the wing from the board and rock
the panel onto the spars at the outboard end. Pin A3 in place and add ribs R4–R9 and glue in place, followed by SM4 and SM5. Glue the 1⁄4 × 3⁄8-inch leading edge and 3⁄32-

board and glue LSM in place. Sand the wing to shape, and then add the 5⁄32-inch brass joiner tubes followed by the 1⁄16-inch O.D. aluminum strut retention tubes that are lashed to SM with thread and secured with a drop of thin CyA. Build the flaps and ailerons over the plans
