Q and A with Harry Ashby and Charlotte Kearney . . .
Well firstly congratulations from STYLEetc for being the very first winners of Castlefield Clinic Face & Body campaign 2011! Please tell us about your experience?
Charlotte: I still can’t believe I won the competition, it was such a fun night, Everyone was just there to enjoy themselves and even if I hadn’t won I still would have had an amazing night! The goodie bags from Castlefield clinic where amazing!
Harry: The experience was amazing! I was shocked when I heard my name called out as the winner but felt fantastic. All the other contestants were great and we all made a great final, I’m looking forward to helping pick the next winners.
The shoot looks amazing! How did you find it working with the stylists, make-up artist and photographers?
Thank you, I love how the pictures turned out, it’s hard to imagine what they will look like at the time but the team are so talented I trusted they wouldn’t make me look awful! I wasn’t sure of my outfits at first,, they weren’t my usual style, but once I had them on I felt like a million dollars! I LOVED my hair and makeup! It was glam but not too over the top!
The shoot was what I expected and more. It was a really fun, relaxed day. The stylist was working away to make us look great with the clothes and input. The make-up artist was fun as its always funny putting make up on a male. The photographer was spot on with the shots she captured.
What was your favourite look from the shoot?
I loved the black all in one suit I would never normally wear that but I thought it looked great on the pictures.
My favourite look was Charlotte and I in the sports hoodies.
What are you plans for the future?
I am getting married next June, so I’m busy wedding planning at the moment which is fun, but I’m hoping to do more presenting work. I did my first presenting job a few years ago as a favour for a friend who was holding an event and I loved the buzz of presenting live on stage.
I’m hoping
to get an agent in the next few weeks and then I will work hard at getting that big break!
My future plans are to continue with my music (downside take it away) and also get some good modelling/sports work. I’ve also started a music night in Birmingham called pic’n’mix the launch is on 4th may so come on down!
And finally the whole campaign is based around being happy inside, what makes you happy inside?
Being with my mum, fiancé and dog makes me happy inside. My family live in Ireland so I miss my mum lots so whenever I see her I’m at my happiest! I have a big silly Labrador and everyday he makes me laugh with the daft things he gets up to! And finally when I think about my wedding day with my fiancé Alex, I get goosebumbs and a biggest smile on my face!
What makes me happy is love, friends, family, keeping it real, laughing every chance you get, and always dreaming for what you want..
