PROFILE: Jane Given


Born Jane Cunningham in Glasgow, Jane worked part- time as a model while at Glasgow University where she gained a 1st Class Honours Bachelor of Education Degree. Jane was a Primary School Teacher when she met the then Newcastle United goalkeeper Shay Given in 1999. In 2001, they married in Hexham, Northumberland before setting up home in Tyneside where their two children were born. 2004 saw Jane and Shay launch Fashion Kicks to help raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support - a charity close to their hearts. Together they came up with the idea for an event that would fuse fashion, football, food and fantastic entertainment! 8 years on they have broken through the £1,000,000 barrier for their fundraising and continue to make Fashion Kicks the most sought after tickets in town!
