FANS OF giant battle robots will be excited for the latest Transformers title, Fall of Cybertron. The game follows on from Transformers: War for Cybertron, which shifted over 195,000 copies worldwide in its first week of sales with over 100,000 of those sales generated from the Xbox 360 version.


Transformers: Fall of Cybertronis a third-person shooter that has players experiencing the final days of planet Cybertron, where they will fight in an apocalyptic war between the Autobots and Decepticons.

APOCALYPSE NOW There’s plenty on offer, including huge environments, multiple missions and a recognisable cast of Transformers characters to use, including Grimlock’s nearly indestructible T-Rex form and the Combaticons’ Bruticus formation. Each character will also have their own unique moves and abilities.


Fall of Cybertron has the most in-depth customisation option ever seen in a Transformers title.


Players will also be able to create their own personalised character, choosing their own weaponry and design from hundreds of pieces and thousands of paint job options in the most in-depth customisation option ever seen in a Transformers title.


IN YOUR HANDS Toy specialist Hasbro will be launching a line of Transformers action figures to go alongside the release of the game. The toys include Deluxe Bruticus Combiner and the Prime Terrorcon Cliff Jumper.


SHOW SOME SKIN


Additional characters and skins will be available for pre-ordering Transformers: Fall of Cybertron including a Generation 1-themed Optimus Prime skin and Megatron rifle. UK retailers have yet to confirm their pre-order bonus.
