We have chartered the Grande Caribe for this voyage along the waterways of North America. Commissioned in the United States in 1997, this coastal ship is operated by Blount Small Ship Adventures. Although the vessel accommodates up to 96 passengers, we are limiting numbers for this cruise to 75 to allow formore comfort. The vessel was refurbished in 2009 and offersmodern comforts and bright and airy public spaces. Each cabin features private facilities and individually controlled air conditioning systems, which continuously feed in fresh air.


Single-sittingmeals with an open seating policy allows you the freedomtomeetmany travelling companions. In the Vista View lounge enjoy 180-degree views. In addition the spacious sun deck has comfortable furniture and is a delightful place to enjoy the sunshine and passing scenery.

Day 1 London to Montreal. Fly by scheduled flight. On arrival, transfer to your first class hotel for an overnight stay. Day 2 Montreal.Morning at leisure. This afternoon transfer to the Grande Caribe andmoor overnight in this charming city. Day 3 Cruising the St Lawrence. Spend the day cruising the St. Lawrence River, a river rich in history and wildlife. Day 4 Saguenay River. The Saguenay River is bordered by dramatic cliffs and is noted to be one of the world’s best locales for whale watching, attracting belugas, right whales and even the elusive blue whale. the beautiful St. Lawrence Seaway. The Seaway is a systemof locks, canals and channels dotted with waterfront communities, scenic islands and amazing wildlife habitats. Day 7 Ogdensburg & Thousand Islands. This morning visit Ogdensburg, before arriving in New York’s scenic Thousand Islands region. Continue on to tiny Dark Island in Chippewa Bay and tour the stately and elegant Singer Castle and overnight in scenic Alexandria Bay with views of the famed Boldt Castle. Day 8 Thousand Islands. Today cruise pastmore of the beautiful Thousand Islands on your way to Clayton, NY. This evening cruise to Oswego, NY on the shores ofmagnificent Lake Ontario. Day 9 Lake Ontario. Thismorning cruise the narrow locks of the Oswego Canal and pretty Oneida Lake en route to Sylvan Beach, a lakeside resort town. Day 10 Erie Canal. Enjoy a full day on the Erie Canal’s calm, blue water and the unspoiled beauty of the surrounding countryside. First, enjoy the official Erie CanalMuseum, located in the last remaining weigh lock building, and later the Snake-Oil GlassWorks to discover first-hand the craftsmanship of the glass blowing process and the beautiful glass creations that result. Complete the excursion with wine tasting at a local winery. Day 11 Erie Canal. Pass through Lock 11 of the Erie Canal toward Troy, NY, known for its unparalleled Victorian architecture and abundant Tiffany windows. Experience local culture through an onboardmusical performance tonight. Day 12 Hudson River. Arrive in Kingston, NY, where you can visit the Hudson RiverMaritimeMuseum with indoor and outdoor exhibits dedicated to preserving the area’smaritime history. Day 13 New York City. A short trip down the Hudson River brings you to New York City. Travel through the bustling New York Harbour enjoying unparalleled views of the Statue of Liberty and the city skyline.Moor overnight. Day 14 New York to London. Disembark this morning and after some time at leisure, transfer to the airport for your return scheduled flight to London. Day 15 London. Arrive today.
