Indicia devised an interactive social media initiative aimed at showcasing the experiential nature of an Ireland holiday. The campaign saw a young British couple take a week-long road-trip with a twist — they weren’t in charge of their own itinerary. With the public telling them what to do and where to go, every detail of the journey was shared through maps, video blogs and photos uploaded to a live feed so that the online audience could see their suggestions being carried out. Through Facebook, Twitter and Tourism Ireland’s website, the onus was on constant interaction.

SILVER STANDARD VSFLYINGHUB
HYPERNAKED FOR VIRGIN ATLANTIC
With the creation of vsflying hub, Hypernaked set about creating a dynamic, global platform aimed at helping the airline make relevant connections with travel agents while providing genuinely useful tools. The strategy was to create an online hub that could be updated by regional marketing managers and go beyond the basics of easy-to-find information while engaging agents in a ‘red hot’ brand experience.
Sections are designed to help agents deliver extra value to their customers, including an A-Z ‘Knowledge Bank’ and the opportunity to collate dispersed information from a single place. The hub also allows agents to create personalised PDF brochures and download logos, pictures and copy blocks to enhance marketing collaterals.
With a relatively small media spend, registrations to the site are 26% up in the UK and the site has significantly helped reduce calls to Virgin Atlantic’s sales support team.
