Users of Avnet's point of use replenishment system(Pours) can now log in to the web- based inventorymanagement systemvia their iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch.
The new Pours app enables customers to
monitor activity and take action on exceptions without logging into the Pours website from their PC. In cases where the purchasing team ormanagement needs to approve orders, they can now be notified on theirmobile phone and can complete the approval process with a few clicks.When inventory ships from the supplier, the advance ship notice appears in the app so that users can track shipments directly fromtheir iPhone or iPad.
