CUI has further expanded its VMS medical open frame power supply portfolio with the release of three new series ranging from 80 to 120W. The VMS series is designed for use in a variety of medical and dental applications, carrying UL/cUL and TUV 60601-1 safety certifications and EN55011 class B EMI compliance. All units fit in an industry standard three by five inch footprint and achieve efficiencies up to 91 per cent.
Half-brick targets rail apps
Designed for use in railway systems and other harsh environments,Wall Industries' newDCHBW150 series DC/DC power converters deliver up to 182Wof output power in an industry standard half-brick package.
The series consists of 3.3, 5, 12, 15, 24,
28 and 48V DC single outputmodels that operate over 4:1 input voltage ranges of nine to 36V DC, 16.5 to 75V DC and 43 to 160V DC. Standard features include efficiency up to 91 per cent, soft start, adjustable output voltage, remote sense, 2,250V DC I/Oisolation and positive remoteON/OFF control.
Converters in the range have no
minimumload requirements and operate over a case temperature range of -40 to 115°C. They also boast aMTBF of 1,010,000 hours using Bellcore TR-NWT- 000332 and 74,160 hours usingMIL- HDBK-217F. Units are protected against short circuit, over voltage, over current and over temperature conditions.

series is ideal for use inwireless networks, industry control systems, distributed power architectures and telecom/datacomapplications. The series is priced at $89.95 inOEMquantities.
