EE SOME HOTELS ONCE, AND YOU’VE seen everything. See the Las Vegas Hilton, and you’re always looking at something new to add another dimension to your meeting. This past year marked the grand opening
of several new venues at the Las Vegas Hilton, including the Knight Gallery, showcasing the work of rock-music photographer Robert Knight; Vince Neil’s Tres Rios Cantina, created under a partnership with Motley Crüe lead singer Vince Neil; the expansion of the popu- lar Fortuna: A Coffee and Wine Experience, with new seating areas that include plasma TVs and comfortable couches; and the open- ing of Bling, a sterling-silver and cubic-zirconia jewelry boutique. One of the world’s largest
hotels, the Las Vegas Hilton is big on gaming excitement. The 37,000-square-foot Main Casino, embellished with upscale chande- liers, has a new action pit with live dancing. The 30,000-square- foot SuperBook, voted “Best of Las Vegas” and Nevada’s largest, most technologically advanced sports-wagering venue, has more than 300 seats, 28 giant screens, and one massive, 15' x 20' screen. The new Ultimate Fan Cave in the SuperBook opened in March.
Meeting space includes the 70,000-square-foot Hilton Cen-
ter, comprised of the 31,800-square-foot Conrad Room and the 38,200-square-foot Barron Room. Eight separate, column-free rooms with moveable partitions make up the 43,130-square-foot Pavilion. The 35,000-square-foot ballroom encompasses seven separate, pillar-free rooms. Fourteen conference rooms span 9,385 square feet of space, and two boardrooms are perfect for smaller gatherings. Two new North Tower meeting rooms, complete with their own in-room plasma monitors, make presentations even more impressive. The convention area is adjacent to the Las Vegas Convention Center, providing convenient access to all conventions and trade shows. If you are booking a summer meeting this year, note that the Las Vegas Hilton is offering double Hil- ton HHonors Meeting Planner Points for new meet- ings booked between July 15 and Aug. 31 (some restrictions apply).
