CONVENTION CENTER HIGHLIGHTS  The VisitScotland Business Tourism Unit (BTU) works with Scotland’s venues, including the SECC, to help coordinate all conference, meeting, incentive, and event-management requirements. The combined efforts of the venues, the cities, and BTU keep Scotland consistent as a top meetings/conference destination.


 BTU’s support and promotion of the SECC as a destination venue has garnered repeat business for the facility.


HOTEL HIGHLIGHTS  A covered walkway connects the SECC to the 283-room, four-star Crowne Plaza hotel.


 The Blythswood Square hotel, situated 1.6 miles fromthe SECC, was featured on Conde Nast Traveler magazine’s “2010 Hot List.” It offers 106 guest rooms, plus a spa, restaurants, a bar, and a private screening room.


 The Hotel Du Vin at One Devonshire Gardens is a luxury boutique hotel with 49 guest rooms and suites. Its restaurant was recently awarded three AA rosettes. Its wine cellar showcases an extensive selection of 600 bins, and a whisky snug has more than 300 whiskies on display.


 The Radisson Blu Hotel, in the heart of Glasgow, has 250 stylish guest rooms, two diverse restaurants, three bars, 17 meeting rooms, and a large leisure club.
