the resort’s two halfpipes and four terrain parks, with a vast selection of obstacles and kickers, will keep freestylers of all standards happy. they range from the Beginner to the expert ils plauns. the pipes include europe’s biggest superpipe, which is 160m long. there’s also a boardercross, a kidscross, and an airbag so you can practise your tricks with a guaranteed soft landing. the parks are prepared daily and open until 15 april. a good time to go is during the Brits freestyle skiing and snowboarding championships and music festival, being held here from 18 to 25 march. laax also has the indoor Freestyle academy, which allows year-round freestyling with soft landings into foam pits.
