Tim Emmett is one of the UK’s top extreme-sports athletes. He is a world-class rock and ice-climber, pioneer of para-alpinism and one of the few people in the world who can pilot a wing-suit.


Tim regularly finished within the top 10 at the World Ice Climbing Championships in the last decade. In 2010 he completed the most difficult ice-climb in the world, climbing the third largest waterfall in North America. Tim is also known for Deep Water Soloing, a form of solo rock climbing that relies solely upon the presence of water at the base of a climb to protect against injury.


In the last few years he has been at the forefront ‘Para Alpinism’, a sport in which the participant climbs with a B.A.S.E-Jumping rig and, upon reaching the summit, jumps into a freefall to get back down. In his quest to push the boundaries of adventure, he also learnt to pilot a ‘wing-suit’, which allows him to literally fly from the summit of a mountain, reaching speeds of 250 mph with absolutely no CO2 emissions!


Tim is on a perpetual quest is to seek out extreme adventure and push the envelope of psychological and physical performance. His enthusiasm for life is infectious and his presentations are as energy-charged as his life!
