The Music Shipping Company SUPPLIER SPOTLIGHT

Available exclusively from the supplier in the UK, Aquarian Drumheads has brought a lot of new products to market lately…

AQUARIAN DRUMHEADS and MIDItroniX unveiled the new Aquarian inHEAD acoustic/electronic trigger head at the January 2012 NAMM show. The inHEAD bridges the gap

between acoustic drums and electronic percussion. For the first time drummers can play on a real drumhead, using traditional acoustic drums, and access a whole host of electronic sounds.

Most drummers prefer playing real drums and the inHEAD sacrifices none of the feel and sensitivity they want to experience.

Most drummers prefer playing real

drums, and the inHEAD sacrifices none of the feel and sensitivity they want to experience. Drummers get the right feel when playing the head electronically, on their own choice of drums. Innovative inHEAD technology eliminates unwanted crosstalk and double triggering issues and coupled with its companion the inBOX, lets the electronic drum module perform like never before. Reinforce the drum sound without using microphones, create new hybrid acoustic/electronic drum sounds that are all your own

and save time in the studio and on stage by capturing great sounding audio and also sending accurate MIDI information to drive computer software. Aquarian has also launched

additional ranges for rock players. The Super-Kick bass drum range is enhanced with the addition of the Super-Kick 10, a durable, clear, twin- ply bass drumhead. The Super-Kick 10 features two 10mm film plies for extra strength, depth and “intense” attack. Also new are the Triple Threat snare drumheads, featuring three 7mm plies – the first triple-ply head for snare drum – and the Hi-Impact, a coated head available in black or white that features two 10mm plies with a larger Power Dot underneath. Designed for heavy hitters and tested by key Aquarian Artists for durability and power, this is a tough head with excellent response and tone. The Music Shipping Company is

the exclusive UK distributor for Aquarian Drumheads. See Page 68 for more details, or visit www.musicshipping.co.uk.
