MIDDLESEX TOP 10 IN THE UK

MIDDLESEX UNIVERSITY IS AMONG THE TOP TEN UNIVERSITIES FOR GRADUATE SALARIES IN THE UK, ACCORDING TO RESEARCH BY AN INTERNATIONAL CONSULTANCY FIRM.

The report, carried out by Parthenon Group, showed that Middlesex is better than many of the Russell Group institutions on employment outcomes.

Middlesex, which came eighth, is in the top ten list along with LSE, Imperial College London, Cambridge, Oxford, UCL, Warwick, Kings College, Surrey, Bath and Bristol.

Katie Bell, Deputy Vice- Chancellor, said: “Middlesex’s ranking within the top ten of the ‘highest-value universities’ recognises our commitment to employability and can be attributed to the practical support we offer to prepare students to succeed in their chosen careers.

With students being asked to make a greater financial investment in their education, institutions will need to demonstrate how they can help students achieve their future goals.

As this study shows, Middlesex students can feel confident they will be well equipped to compete for jobs in a global marketplace with expert advice from our careers service and academic staff, as well as opportunities to study abroad at one of our international campuses, or complete a work placement before they graduate.”

Parthenon looked at salaries students earned in the six months after graduating across many courses.

An overall league table was then compiled showing the top 30 universities that consistently appear towards the top of the average salary rankings. The table on the right shows the top 20.
