MNG Has Begun Passenger-to-Freighter Conversion

Nine years after its first C-check, MNG Technic is undertaking another major task. MNG Technic is in the process of converting three Airbus A300- 600 passenger aircraft into freighter configuration belonging to MNG Airlines. The conversion of the first aircraft began on September 19, 2011. MNG Technic will become the first and only MRO in Turkey capable of passenger-to-freighter conversion. The passenger-to-freighter conversion will be performed by MNG Technic at their Istanbul MRO facility using an Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) and conversion kit supplied by B/E Aerospace.
