OUR GUEST OF HONOR FOR OUR CELEBRATION OF THE 236TH Birthday of the United States Marine Corps was General Jim Conway USMC (Ret.), the 34th Corps.

Entertainment before the ceremony was provided by our favorite singer, Erich Stratmann, accompanied by Richard Evans, plus Melody Moore, an opera singer who played the role of Rick Rescorla’s wife in the opera “Heart of a Soldier”. Erich and Melody sang two duets, thrilling the audience. During a flawless ceremony put on by the Staff Non-Commis- sioned Officers of the 23rd

After the ceremony, the guests were treated to a reception followed by a great dinner, prepared by our Chef and served hot! The guests danced past midnight on the 10th 12th


, 11th floors.


Everyone had a great time, and felt real pride in the ceremony, the Club, and our Corps.
