What people are doing, seeing, believing

What do you believe?
A new study focuses on just what it is that young Christians (18-34) believe.
• 29% believe people can lead a meaningful life without accepting Jesus Christ.
• 49% of Christians agree that sharing your faith is important vs. 23% who say Christianity is not a faith that all Americans should automatically accept.
• 64% believe the Bible is accurate in its teachings vs. 18% who believe the Bible, Quran and other such religious books are all different ways of expressing the same truths.

Effects of Technology
Despite the growing concern surrounding children and the overuse of technology, a survey conducted by the Barna Group found that more parents feel their family’s use of common technologies (computers, cell phones, video games, etc.) has a positive effect as opposed to a negative effect. While 51% of parents are neutral on the subject, 32% say the use of these technologies actually makes family life better for both kids and parents compared to 18% who say it makes life worse.
