• T e opener mount is used on a single disc air drill, which is used to plant wheat, canola, soybeans and grasses. Between 32 and 40 opener mounts are on each unit.
• T e casting, which previously was an 11-piece weldment requiring several months lead time, is a single component with zero machining, delivered in two to four weeks.
• T e 11.25 x 10.5 x 4.5-in., 21.05-lb. bracket provided a 46% cost savings and a 6-lb. weight reduction compared to the previous 11-piece weldment.
