Credo adds video content from Focus Medica


Credo Reference has signed an agreement with Focus Medica, which provides visual medical reference. The deal brings Focus Medica content to the Credo platform. Titles included in the agreement are: Animated Medical and Health Dictionary and Animated Dictionary of


Cardiology. These titles will be offered in the forthcoming Nursing and Allied Health Collection, which will soon join Credo’s eight existing Subject Collections. Videos will compliment text, charts, diagrams and images. www.credoreference.com


Publishing Technology will build site for GSE Research


Publishing Technology has been chosen to build an academic publishing platform for new, digital-only scholarly publisher, GSE Research. GSE Research’s objective is to bridge the gap between the scholarly research community, policy-makers and the corporate world by building an inclusive and interactive community that shares its views in real time.


The new online platform for research into governance, sustainability and the environment will be built using Publishing Technology’s semantic web-based publishing software, pub2web. APA launches database of therapy demonstration videos


The American Psychological Association (APA) has announced PsycTHERAPY, a database of therapy


demonstration videos developed to enable viewers to observe how therapists employ different approaches and techniques in

Repository covers psychological test records and measures


The American Psychological Association (APA) is releasing PsycTESTS. This database is said to provide a simple yet comprehensive solution for libraries and their patrons looking for access to test content. PsycTESTS will be updated monthly and includes over 2,200


indexed test records, with more than 1,500 ready-to- use instruments. It includes full-text psychological tests, measures, scales, and other assessments as well as descriptive and administrative information for each. www.apa.org/pubs/data- bases


Free service give mobile access to Taylor & Francis resources


The new Taylor & Francis Online Mobile promises to enable users to access knowledge via iPhone, Android, Blackberry and tablet devices. This new service is free to use, and is said to offer benefi ts to users that include being able to link to their institution’s content via a

Springer web tool enables MARC record
