DRGT powered by SiP:
the independent systems solution
Systems are a key part of gaming, as well as helping regulators and government; DRGT’s acquisition of Systems in Progress has created a company that can provide truly flexible solutions
T
he systems side of the gaming market is key to operators around the world. Indeed the necessity of linking machines together is becoming even more important. Often two major
factors are brought together. The first is the legal requirement to link together gaming machines to provide data to the finance ministry. The second factor is the empowerment given to operators – from seeing the money and in and out of each machine – thus the machine accounting – right up to offering cashless and progressive jackpots. Whatever solution the operator is looking for – this can be provided by DRGT powered by SiP.
DRGT is an independent company
DRGT is a completely independent systems company. The complete focus is on providing the right solution to satisfy each market requirement in gaming markets around the world. The beauty of the DRGT system is that it works independently of machine type or machine manufacturer. Therefore the company slogan `works on all slots´ truly applies. Gone are the days when operators had to remove older, popular machines to move to cashless. Therefore, operators now invest only in cashless and not in cashless alongside the necessity of investing in new machines as well to update the slot floor – as was often the case in the past.
SiP now belongs to DRGT
DRGT purchased the Austrian systems company Systems in Progress [SiP] in August of this year. SiP was founded over eight years ago – at that time by Unicum in Russia. The requirement of linking many slot machines over great distances was mastered and was an

important contributory effect for Unicum. The closing of the Russian market gave WMS the opportunity to make use of the systems knowledge of SiP. With the sale of SiP to DRGT, the market can choose a real systems alternative with proven experience in the market. DRGT made its official entrance into the international market only back at the ICE 2011 in January, having successfully introduced its cashless solution at the majority of the casinos in its home country of Belgium. “We purposely waited to ensure that our cashless systems were running great over a longer period before entering the international market”, explains DRGT´s co-founder and CEO, Jurgen De Munck. “The fact that we can connect all machines – regardless of age, type or manufacture – in a cost-effective way has opened the door to cashless around to gaming world. Cashless is now no longer related with the latest machine park and heavy investments. It is now related with flexibility, simplicity, long- term effectiveness and all at a very affordable price”. The SiP products and experience are naturally now being integrated into DRGT. “Therefore, we rightly state DRGT powered by SiP, as SiP is playing a key role in our product solutions. This is a great match for the market and true synergies are taking place”, concludes Mr. De Munck.
drCashless – maximise profits with minimum investment drCashless is the cashless solution from
DRGT to link all slot machines on the floor – regardless how old, whether reel-based or video-based or whom the manufacturer is. Updating slot machines is simple and very affordable – thanks to the iButton. Absolutely no brackets are required to implement the

iButton as the transponder is simply integrated within the push button panel. Players use a special transponder key that stores all the necessary player account details. The question on how players can see their account details is answered by drTouch or drTouch?. No extra monitor needs to be added – DRGT makes use of the slot machine monitor. If the video slot has one monitor – then drTouch is implemented. Video slots with two monitors make use of drTouch? that allows the great advantage of the player being able to continue playing on the main screen whilst viewing their account details on the other. Reel-based slots cannot offer this feature without a video screen. DRGT understands that many operators wish to keep hold of the older, reel-based slots but make use of the screen technology. The solution from DRGT is drReel Screen – it enables the upper glass screen to be replaced with a video-based flat-screen video that replicates the glass design. This design then changes to the accounts details once the iButton is activated.
