CM-Series No Bake CoreMaker™


Toolox 44 is a new pre-hardened die steel designed to have high impact resistance and low residual stresses and therefore good dimensional stability. Despite a hardness of 45 HRC, this new steel is easily machined and particularly suited for Die Casting, Permanent Mold and Core Box applications. Guaranteed minimum v-notch charpy of 14 ft. lbs. (a typical reading is 22 ft. lbs.) Excellent thermal conductivity and heat check resistance.

SOLUTIONS/BENEFITS: The new DISA MATCH 28/32 ma- chine provides the perfect larger match plate molding option for shorter, moderate production runs with frequent pattern changes. Fast pattern plate changes using the Quick Match Plate Changer combined with speeds of up to 100 uncored and 80 cored molds per hour (with an Automatic Core Setter) for the larger size platform provides superior flexibility and performance. Two versions are available: Medium Platform with a chamber size of 24 x 28 in. and the Large Platform with chamber sizes of 28 x 32 in. and 32 x 32 in.
