MELT QUALITY/POURING/REFRACTORIES Modifier For Aluminum Foundries
Stack/Tower Melters
IMACRO’s highly-concentrated 90% Strontium–Aluminum modifier for hypoeutectic aluminum-silicon alloys has dem- onstrated its worth by reducing modification costs, improving strontium recoveries, and lowering inventory costs. STRONAL 9010’s low melting point (1,080°F/580°C) makes it ideal for casting at lower metal temperatures. The benefits of which include reduced oxides and hydrogen gas pick-up, less mag- nesium burn-off, and lower energy consumption, resulting in improved quality, better yields and greater profitability. STRONAL 9010 is the preferred modifier choice for Al-Si alloy casters. Contact us today.

Z2 Syncarb Crucible
The DUCTA-SPRUE®
Dross Reclamation Mill liberates pre-
cious metals from slag and dross, quickly recovering your valu- able material. Rotary action abrades material to break apart and release slag, dross, and coke from recoverable metals. The DUCTA-SPRUE®
Dross Reclaimer cleans metal deposits for
remelting while breaking down other impurities for recycling or disposal. A variety of screening options are available to fur- ther separate and classify your product, including continuous screening within the drum, material pre-screening, and post screening magnetic separation to maximize material purity.

MorganMMS has introduced the Z2 Syncarb crucible, offer- ing major advantages in energy efficiency, higher thermal conductivity and other performance characteristics critical to the melting process. The Z2 is an isostatically pressed clay-graphite crucible that provides optimal life when melt- ing copper and copper alloys as well as in induction furnace applications. Further, several applications have demonstrated that the new Z2 Syncarb performs exceptionally well in zinc distillation operations where a common mode of crucible failure is corrosive attack from zinc vapors.
