Egan clothing stay true to their roots
GLANCING ahead to the chilly months, the first thing that springs to mind has got to be knitwear. We’re thinking chunky knit, Alpine style cardis – looking good for AW11 and working well with a tartan or checked shirt. Egan are a Northern label with big influences in the ‘football casual style revolution’, their ethos tells of passion for details, lovers of the complete look - cars, clubs, culture and clothes. Their forthcoming collection dips into winter with a tasty selection of shirts coats and jumpers. Nice.

TWOHEADS Philips and O’Neill have
designs on headphones…
WE see what’s going on here, Philips and O’Neill are working together on something that’s stylishly robust and technologically sound, clever. The Bend and The Stretch Scratch are two designs they’ve come up with that nod heavily to excursions of the sporty kind. The latter features a super-bendy headband that can twist in every direction with an overcoat colouring that’s meant to fade over time. Endorsed by women’s professional surfer Malia Manuel, the Stretch Scratch has been put to the test of staying on throughout extreme conditions. Challenge on.
