Steady demand for Stephill

Stephill Generators says that it

keeps a healthy stock of generators for next-day delivery to meet hirers’ needs, and that its range of machines from 8-20kVA are in steady demand. All ‘super silent’ sets have Kubota engines, both in the 3,000rpm range (8-10kVA) and 1,500rpm category (12-20kVA). The manufacturer’s 1,500rpm super silent multi-phase generators are designed to offer full output on 115, 230 and 400V, and a three-way valve is fitted as standard, for running off a remote tank, as well as a hardwire facility and RCD protection for 230 and 400V outputs. A Deep Sea 3110 controller is fitted for engine and set management.

Multi-purpose Evolution system

Evolution Power Tools has introduced its EvoSystem, a versatile unit that can be configured as a generator, a pressure washer or a water pump. A quick coupling and release mechanism has been devised to enable the machine to be changed for different uses quickly without tools. The four-stroke engine produces 6.5hp, and in generator format it provides 2.4kW continuous and 2.8kW peak output in 110 or 230V, with automatic voltage regulation. The pressure washer supplies 175 bar at a flow rate of eight litres per minute, and the 75mm diameter water pump provides a 28m lift height.

Tough BGG line-up

BGG UK’s ‘rental spec’ generators are available with outputs from 9-2250kVA, in silent and ‘super silent’ canopy/container variations, and with noise levels claimed to be as low as 59db at 1m. The machines have Deep Sea auto start control panels, with other options available on request, load share and sync lock systems, rig safe and DNV offshore and refinery options, and fully bunded extended run fuel tanks. All sets are hot-dip galvanised and powder coated in order to withstand the rigours of hire.
