Footwear’s finest head to Moda B
uyers are set to be welcomed by an array of great new products at next month’s Moda Footwear as more new and big name brands sign up to deliver
new season collections across men’s, women’s and children’s footwear for the spring/summer 2012. The biggest ever Moda Footwear will be taking place from 14-16 August at the NEC Birmingham.
Moda Footwear will play host to the latest
collections featuring classic, urban, directional, comfort and specialist ranges from the likes of Wrangler, Drunknmunky, Superga, Rocawear, Ara, Cocorose London, Zigi NY, Alma En Pena, Dollybird, Cefalu, Fidelio Magic Stretch, Wembley Classic, Memo, Chipmunks, Stuart Weitzman, Popsies, Savvy, Freestep and so many more. Moda regulars including CAT Footwear, Bamboo A, Barker Shoes, Base London, Kickers, IKON Footwear, New Rock, Ipanema, Iron Fist, Fly London, Skechers USA, Bobux, Vivo Barefoot Kids and Moschino will return to the show once again. Iconic American brand Wrangler, urban
trendsetters Drunknmunky, Italian plimsoll label Superga as worn by many famous faces and Rocawear from hip hop star Jay-Z are just some of the major new names that will be in attendance this season. Joining them in the new Select zone situated on the cusp of Moda Footwear and Moda Menswear will be nautical-inspired Sperry Top-Sider, Original Penguin Footwear, Boxfresh and Levi’s Footwear plus plenty more footwear and menswear collections in laidback urban cool to be seen from some of the world’s most reputable labels. Buyers looking for footwear that combines both
practicality and luxury will not be disappointed; German label Ara hits Moda shores for the first time with its range of high quality waterproof boots, effortlessly combining comfort with style.
Newcomers Cocorose London will show a design- led range of hand-crafted foldable pumps; a soon-to-be essential item in every woman’s wardrobe the world over. US new arrivals Zigi NY will deliver a selection of glamorous flats, heels and boots with extra attention paid to ease of fit. A wide choice of comfort, classic and specialist
footwear will be available from new signings such as Maniera (Tigar Europe), Wembley Classic, Cushionflex, Belstane, Bioline, Ellie D and Finn Comfort. Children’s orthopaedic footwear brand Memo will make its first time appearance at Moda with gloriously colourful creations. The Moda three-day event takes place on 14-16
August 2011 at the NEC Birmingham and will include daily fashion and lingerie catwalk shows as well as a free to all visitors seminar programme.
