Editor’s letter A

h, summer. It always brings with it a trip to Macau, and this past couple of years, a new mega-casino

opening. This year it was Galaxy’s turn, and while it’s quite an impres- sive development, what does it bring to the area that is really new? What does Galaxy do that you can’t do any- where else? I remain to be convinced about the validity of its opening, but I suspect a visit one year on at next year’s G2E Asia will answer a lot of questions. In the meantime, be sure to check out our interview on the CanCan Casino plan on p34, a cash handling feature starting on 28, and our G2E Asia report starts on p37. Enjoy the issue!
