he first thing contractors need to be aware of is that, once Amendment 1 is published, they will have the choice – between 30 June and 31 December 2011 – to work with either the


new regulation or the existing standard, providing they specify which they have followed on the certificate. From 1 January 2012, all installations must comply with the new Amendment 1. The free seminars were designed to explain the facts
