Later that afternoon, the findings of ILTM’s global research project ‘The Future of Luxury Travel – A Global Trends Report’ will open the ILTM Asia Ultratravel Forum at 5pm in the Shanghai Theatre, Portman Ritz-Carlton. This is followed by a panel discussion which will address ‘Is the Asian Luxury Traveller dictated by culture, wealth or both?’, hosted by CNN journalist Michelle Han with confirmed panellists including Paul Dickinson of Virgin Atlantic, hotelier Loh Lik Peng, Fiona Watson of American Express and Silversea Cruises’ Steve Odell.
From Tuesday 14 - Thursday 16 June inclusively, ILTM Asia’s pre-scheduled appointments will begin at 10am and end at 6pm. These tailor-made diaries of one-to-one meetings offer exceptional value for all involved.
The evenings are reserved for catching up with colleagues and following up with new contacts made during the day. On Tuesday, 14 June, 7.30pm to 11pm, one of the most talked about social events on the industry calendar takes place at Hyatt on the Bund – the ILTM Asia Official Party. And finally on Wednesday, 15 June, one of three perfect network settings can be chosen: a Chinese dinner at The Langham Xintiandi, a Huangpu River Cruise or the Cocktail Reception at Fairmont Peace Hotel.
