www.msc-ge.com Automated online quotations
Rutronik has improved the ease of use of its Webg@te eCommerce platform. The Mass Quotation tool automatically generates an overview with parts numbers, availability, packing units and prices from a parts list supplied in an Excel spreadsheet. The Mass Quotation tool is designed to
provide a simple route to effective order generation. The only upload is an Excel file containing product and quantity columns. In seconds, Mass Quotation generates an overview containing the Rutronik part numbers and real-time availability data, packing units and current prices. If a product cannot be uniquely identified, a list of possible candidates is offered. The user can then order the components
directly or request a quotation. The results list can be downloaded as an Excel spreadsheet. Rutronik’s sales director Europe, Tilo
Rollwa, said: “The most important aspect of our Webg@te is its usability. Our customers will appreciate it as an effective, no-frills tool which makes the whole ordering process as

It is backed up not only by an online catalogue with one million articles and extensive information and search capabilities, but also by the PCN database, comprehensive procurement services as well as the option to get in touch with a contact person directly. And all this in a straightforward and intuitive way.”
