Sterex have launched a new free of charge recruitment service, promoting vacancies for electrologists, as part of their recent website development.
“It was a natural progression to offer this service,” explains Elaine Stoddart Director of Education for Sterex Electrolysis. “Recently we havemade a number of big changes to the website with new added and expanded educational sections and we have big plans for the future to include live footage of electrolysis,more Q&A and our new transgender section.”

Stacey Lord has been appointed asmake-up artist for the SouthWest to work withmineral cosmetics brand Jane Iredale providing inspirationalmake-up ideas to clients who book the company’s free make-up events at salons. She is also available to help therapists improve their own product knowledge and retailing skills.
Meanwhile, Lucie Bellieu-Cruse joins the teamin helping salons to boost their retail and treatment business as the new SkinAnalyst for the South East region. In her new role, Lucie visits salons to provide free-of charge skin analysis events for salons which stock iiaa brands, Environ Skin Care,Advanced Nutrition Programme and Jane Iredale. She uses an advanced computerised systemto assess clients’ skin and to set tailored treatment programmes.

Büty Salon’s Face of Fulhamcampaign has crowned 31-year-old Lucy Clarke as the winner of its online competition through Facebook.
The competition, which began in January 2011 attracted 29 entrants where voters or friends could submit a ‘like’ or ‘vote against’ an entry.
StAlbans-based singer/songwriter Lucy topped the polls with 127 votes, and was delighted with her £300 gift voucher to redeemagainst any treatment at the salon.

Skin care brand Epicuren has beenmaking headlines recently as it has been given coverage on both theVogue Beauty Blog and in Bellamagazine.
TheVogue Beauty Blog said that an Epicuren Facial at the English Rose Salon was the perfect pickme up after all the travelling involved with the FashionWeek events, which took place earlier this year, and Bellamagazine dedicated a double page spread on English Rose Distribution’s Director and facialist, Joanne Goodman and on the Epicuren Discovery range.
